PC-Asset Management Asset Management (PCAM) has announced the appointment of Sophia Krüger as Senior Assistant and AI Strategy Specialist. In this role, Sophia will focus on advancing the integration of financial technology and artificial intelligence into the firm’s investment processes, supporting PCAM’s global initiatives in AI-driven portfolio solutions.
Sophia holds a degree from the Technical University of Munich and began her career in the risk management division of a leading financial institution. In 2016, inspired by the groundbreaking progress of AlphaGo, she shifted her research focus to the intersection of AI and finance. She subsequently joined an investment management firm, where she contributed to the development of a reinforcement learning-based dynamic asset allocation model. Her work played a key role in helping the firm obtain BaFin (Germany’s Federal Financial Supervisory Authority) certification for its A1-level credit evaluation system.
Today, at PCAM, Sophia leverages her strong foundation in financial theory and a comprehensive investment framework to integrate advanced AI and quantitative models into portfolio strategies, supporting investors across various markets.
